Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced security professional to help design technical training environments for advanced AI systems. The work focuses on creating realistic, verifiable tasks that help machine learning systems learn how to analyze, exploit, and fix security issues in software. In this role, you will build interactive environments and scoring logic for offensive and defensive security work across a range of programming languages and application types. You may work on tasks such as identifying weaknesses in source code, validating exploitability, and checking whether proposed fixes actually resolve the issue. You will also contribute to reverse-engineering scenarios involving compiled code, bytecode, and obfuscated programs. A key part of the job is developing reliable reward signals using common security and analysis techniques such as fuzzing, debugging, static analysis, symbolic methods, and patch-validation workflows. You will collaborate with a small team, propose new ideas, and help improve the infrastructure used to create these environments. We are looking for someone with strong security fundamentals, practical experience with real-world vulnerability work, and comfort working in Python plus systems-level languages. Familiarity with low-level tooling and one web or application stack is important. Candidates should be proactive, able to work independently, and motivated to stay current in a fast-moving technical field.
