This role leads a team focused on new business growth and account retention within an assigned territory. The manager supports local sales planning, helps improve revenue through pricing and service decisions, and works to expand market presence while maintaining strong customer relationships. The position combines remote work, office collaboration, and customer visits, and the selected candidate must live in Canada, with residence required in either Victoria or Kelowna, BC.
Key responsibilities include coaching sales and account management staff, setting activity and acquisition goals, and monitoring performance against targets. The manager will support prospecting, pipeline development, cross-selling, retention efforts, and competitive account takeaways. This person will also work with other leaders to address customer concerns, improve service quality, and manage pricing strategy. In addition, the role involves analyzing lost business, identifying market opportunities, using sales systems and reporting tools, and helping customers understand relevant industry requirements. Hiring, interviewing, and onboarding support may also be part of the position when vacancies arise.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with several years of B2B sales experience. Prior experience managing sales professionals is preferred. This is a leadership role with the potential to participate in incentive programs after training requirements are met and internal approval is granted.
