Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to support growth for a software provider serving the insurance sector. This role is based in the Calgary area and will focus on selling a technology platform to prospective clients across Canada. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through presentations, negotiation, and contract discussion. You will need to explain a complex software solution clearly, tailor demonstrations to client needs, and keep accurate records in a CRM. The position also includes helping shape sales plans, improving sales materials, and contributing to the development of a growing commercial team. In addition, you may represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. We are looking for someone with insurance sales experience, ideally with a background in brokerage or a related environment. A strong understanding of insurance workflows, confidence with technology, and the ability to build trusted client relationships are essential. You should be proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities. Experience with broker management or similar systems would be an advantage. The role offers a salary of up to about CAD 95,000, plus bonus and competitive benefits. Travel within Canada may be required, with occasional international travel.
