Rubber Tire Roller Operator

We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to support road construction and paving work. In this role, you will operate a rubber tire roller to compact asphalt, soil, and gravel so finished surfaces meet required standards for smoothness, stability, and safety. You will work with supervisors and crew members to complete compaction tasks efficiently and in line with project requirements. Key responsibilities include performing daily equipment checks, monitoring machine condition during use, and completing basic upkeep as needed. You will adjust operating techniques based on site conditions and compaction results, while following project plans and safety procedures at all times. Clear communication with the project team is important to help keep work moving safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience operating a rubber tire roller or similar equipment in road construction. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with valid licensing and heavy equipment training or certification. You should have a solid understanding of compaction methods, equipment operation, and workplace safety practices. This position involves frequent travel between job sites in the local area.
