This role supports store performance across fresh departments by working with management teams to improve execution, strengthen standards, and drive results. You will partner with operations and retail leaders to roll out practical best practices, reinforce consistent processes, and help departments deliver a better customer and employee experience. Key responsibilities include reviewing performance goals with store leaders, helping build action plans and budgets, and providing coaching on selling practices and cost management. You will regularly share priorities and standards with retail and operations teams, monitor how well those standards are being followed, and recommend improvements where needed. The position also includes planning and delivering training for managers, coordinating session logistics, and serving as a subject matter resource for specialized departmental topics. In addition, you will assess training materials and delivery quality, support employee engagement initiatives, and help ensure customer experience expectations are built into department communications and tools. You will also review compliance results, including health, safety, and food-related measures, and highlight trends or gaps to management. The ideal candidate has several years of experience leading a retail department, preferably in more than one store network, along with strong coaching skills, business awareness, and the ability to use data to drive positive change. A valid driver’s license is required.
