Residential Property Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a residential property portfolio, with attention to building standards, financial performance, and resident service. The successful candidate will guide on-site staff, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and help ensure properties are safe, compliant, and efficiently run. Key duties include handling resident questions and service needs, supporting leasing and renewals, and helping maintain strong occupancy and retention. Regular inspections will be part of the role, along with oversight of building conditions, parking administration, and other day-to-day operational matters. The position also supports the opening and stabilization of newly delivered communities. That includes coordinating the transition from construction to occupancy, tracking open items, establishing operating procedures, and working with development and construction partners to reduce disruption for residents. The role will also help source and manage service providers for maintenance and site operations. On the financial side, responsibilities include assisting with budgets, reviewing expenses, monitoring performance, and approving invoices within delegated limits. The role requires leadership ability, strong communication skills, and experience building productive relationships with vendors and residents. Familiarity with residential tenancy rules, safety requirements, and emergency response procedures is also important.
