This role supports research and knowledge mobilization activities that help move evidence into practical use across programs, policy, and service delivery. Reporting to a senior leader in quality and modernization, the specialist works with internal teams and external partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that connect research findings with training, tools, and implementation supports.
Key responsibilities include leading or supporting multiple projects, helping define study approaches, selecting appropriate data sources, and summarizing results for different audiences. The role also contributes to research proposals and funding applications, prepares presentations and knowledge products, and adapts materials for meetings, workshops, conferences, and other engagement settings. Strong project coordination is important, including tracking timelines, deliverables, budgets, risks, and partner involvement.
The specialist develops and maintains collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders, including people with lived or living experience, and supports ongoing communication to encourage engagement and participation. The position requires organizing meetings and project events, preparing supporting materials, and working across teams to identify opportunities for practical knowledge exchange. The ideal candidate is comfortable turning evidence into clear, useful outputs that support change in practice and decision-making.
