Quotations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quotations Specialist to support project-based sales in a wholesale distribution environment. In this role, you will work with a range of external stakeholders, including contractors, builders, designers, and business clients, to review project information and prepare accurate quotations and submission packages. You will help deliver strong customer service, support sales conversion, and contribute to profitability targets. Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings, plans, and customer specifications to identify requirements and recommend suitable solutions; preparing professional quote packages using standard business software; and coordinating pricing, delivery, and purchase terms with suppliers and customers. You will also follow up on open quotes to help secure orders, confirm that orders are processed correctly, and address issues related to pricing discrepancies, returns, or product shortages in a timely manner. In addition, you will serve as a knowledgeable resource for the team on project details and product information, communicate clearly with internal departments to support customer expectations, and escalate any potential credit concerns as needed. Other tasks may be assigned by the manager. The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, preferably in contractor or project sales, along with strong attention to detail, integrity, and solid Microsoft Office skills.
