Quality Manager

We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a quality department and provide strong support to production. In this role, you will help ensure that manufactured parts meet required standards, while keeping inspection-related interruptions to a minimum. You will also contribute to hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for team members within the quality group. The position involves managing customer communication related to quality matters and supporting internal and external audits. You will lead a team, coordinate priorities with inspection staff, and work closely with production, engineering, and programming teams to solve technical issues, improve process control, and reduce scrap and rework. Another key part of the job is maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, records, and document control practices in line with industry requirements. You will also oversee in-process, first-article, and final inspections, support control plan development, and ensure measuring tools and equipment are properly used, calibrated, and traceable. The role includes handling non-conforming parts, investigating root causes, and following up on corrective and preventive actions. Experience in machining environments, team supervision, strong organization, and clear communication are important. A background in mechanical or industrial engineering is considered an asset.
