Protective Coatings Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Protective Coatings Specialist to join our Production Team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for applying powder coating and protective finishes to ensure our products meet high-quality standards. The position requires working an evening shift from Monday to Friday, with training provided during the day. Key responsibilities include applying powder coating finishes to products, following curing procedures, inspecting parts before and after coating, and maintaining coating equipment. You will also be responsible for completing production and quality records accurately and supporting continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a safe and clean workspace by adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience with powder coating or protective coatings, be comfortable working in dusty environments while wearing full personal protective equipment, and possess strong attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to perform equipment maintenance are also essential. Compensation includes a starting wage of $19/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience, plus a premium.
