Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a Proposal Specialist to support the development of competitive submissions across a range of professional services projects. In this role, you will help manage the full proposal cycle, from reviewing incoming bid documents through to final delivery. You will work closely with subject matter experts, technical staff, and business development teams to build clear, compliant, and persuasive proposals. Key responsibilities include coordinating proposal schedules, organizing contributions from multiple disciplines, drafting and editing proposal sections, and ensuring pricing information is accurate and aligned with the technical response. You will also review completed submissions against client requirements, confirm consistency throughout the package, and help maintain strong standards for quality, formatting, and presentation. Time management will be important, as you will be expected to handle tight deadlines while keeping preparation costs under control. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of training and experience, along with several years of experience in proposal development or a related communications role. Strong writing, editing, organization, and project coordination skills are essential. Proficiency with common office and document management tools is required, and experience with layout or presentation software is considered an asset. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively is important, as is comfort working under pressure.
