Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead information technology initiatives in a public sector environment. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience and hold a current PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. This role involves guiding projects from start to finish, including initiation, planning, execution, tracking, control, procurement, and closure. The position requires strong capability in project planning, estimating time and costs, allocating resources, and preparing business cases. You will also be expected to manage several projects at the same time while keeping work aligned with approved budgets, timelines, quality expectations, and organizational procedures. Experience working with government or other public sector stakeholders is important. Strong communication, facilitation, listening, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with diverse teams, presenting information clearly, and handling issues through sound judgment and critical thinking. This assignment is expected to run for an initial period with the possibility of extension. Work may be primarily onsite, with remote work considered only when approved. Standard weekday business hours apply. A clean criminal background check is required, and additional screening may be requested depending on the assignment.
