Project Manager
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of architectural product projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and team members to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinating cross-functional teams; monitoring progress, risks, and issues; and communicating updates and mitigation plans to stakeholders. The role also involves managing project documentation, deliverables, and scope changes, while working closely with sales to align customer expectations with project goals. In addition, the Project Manager will track project financials and collaborate with finance and accounting teams to keep budgets and expenses accurate, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements include at least 5 years of project management experience in a multi-material manufacturing environment, along with knowledge of architectural design, engineering, and construction processes. Experience with wood, metal, and other material manufacturing is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, as well as proficiency with project management software; Smartsheet is considered an asset. A university bachelor’s degree is required. PMP certification is an asset, and travel to project sites may be required.
Compensation is $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience. The role requires 4 days per week onsite and 1 day work from home.
