Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee capital projects at an underground industrial mining site near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This site-based role involves supporting work that helps keep plant and mine operations safe, reliable, and efficient. In this position, you will manage several projects at different stages, from early planning through execution and final turnover. You will work with engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers to keep scope, schedule, budget, and quality on track. Typical work may include equipment replacements, facility improvements, and process or mechanical upgrades. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, reviewing technical documents, tracking progress and costs, and identifying risks before they affect delivery. You will also prepare status updates and presentations, assist with vendor and contract activities, and ensure work meets safety, environmental, and quality expectations. Completing close-out activities and capturing lessons learned will also be part of the role. A minimum of two years of project management experience in mining, heavy industry, construction, or a similar environment is preferred. An engineering degree is an asset, along with familiarity with common project management tools and strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in underground mining is considered a strong advantage.
