Project Director, Marine Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead major marine infrastructure work within a civil construction environment. In this senior role, you will oversee end-to-end delivery of complex projects, guiding planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and client relations. The work may include waterfront structures, marine terminals, docks, dredging, piling, and other coastal or port-related construction. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. A key part of the role is building strong relationships, resolving issues quickly, and helping teams stay aligned on scope, milestones, and commercial goals. You will also support trade partner coordination, review performance against schedule and budget, and contribute practical solutions when challenges arise. This position calls for a leader who can mentor project staff, manage risk, promote quality, and maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance. You should bring substantial experience delivering large civil or marine projects, along with solid financial acumen, organizational strength, and the ability to influence diverse groups. A background in engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Knowledge of the local construction market is an asset.
