Project Director (Construction)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Director to join a growing team in Ontario. This role involves leading and overseeing project teams throughout all phases of execution, ensuring that projects align with objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance standards. The successful candidate will establish clear project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders, while ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating effective communication between clients and project teams, and representing the organization in meetings and proposals. The Project Director will also provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of 15 years in project or program management, preferably within industrial or heavy civil sectors, is required. Proven leadership skills, strong business acumen, and excellent communication abilities are essential. A PMP designation and/or P.Eng. designation are considered assets.
