Project Coordinator
Location: Ontario (with occasional travel across project sites)
We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of construction projects. This role is integral to ensuring that all aspects of project management, from procurement to contract oversight, are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain schedules and budgets, utilizing construction management software for financial tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation and facilitate communication among teams.
- Coordinate activities among subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to constraints.
- Conduct site reviews to track timelines and deliverables.
- Assist in risk management and troubleshooting to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure clear communication and fulfillment of requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Support the project team in obtaining necessary permits and ensuring legal compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Ability to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of integrating project management tools into daily operations.
Pay & Benefits
