It is suited to someone who can lead relationship-based programming, manage grants, and help guide initiatives that support community wellbeing, cultural priorities, and stewardship outcomes. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of funding relationships and program activities, working closely with senior leadership to turn strategic priorities into practical plans, timelines, and partnership approaches. You will also contribute to research, evaluation, and ongoing learning so the program can adapt to changing needs and opportunities. A key part of the job is building and maintaining strong connections with community partners, funders, governments, and other collaborators, while communicating program goals and results clearly. You will help manage budgets and forecasting, support decision-making on grant allocations, and coordinate with internal colleagues across functions. The position also involves supervising and mentoring staff, encouraging teamwork, and contributing to an inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across community, government, nonprofit, and philanthropic settings. Experience in Indigenous partnerships, grantmaking, community development, public policy, or a related area is considered relevant.
