Production Supervisor

A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Key responsibilities include coordinating workflows, allocating labor resources, monitoring production schedules, and guiding production staff to meet operational targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Production Supervisor will lead by example, enforce company policies, and collaborate with management to communicate daily production priorities. Additional duties include reviewing daily production reports, maintaining accurate documentation of employee training and safety records, and addressing equipment issues to minimize disruptions. The role also involves providing coaching and performance feedback to production employees, managing attendance, and participating in performance reviews. Candidates should possess a college diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a high-mix manufacturing environment and supervisory experience. A proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, and knowledge of quality management systems and workplace safety regulations are essential.
