Product Catalog Specialist

A growing startup is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Catalog Specialist to enhance the quality of its product catalog. This role involves managing product data, including descriptions, pricing, images, and data sheets, to ensure accurate representation across various sales channels. The specialist will collaborate with multiple departments, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Technical Support, as well as with suppliers, to provide an exceptional user experience. Key responsibilities include reviewing product catalogs for accuracy and completeness, updating and maintaining product information based on customer requests, creating product cross-references, and ensuring quality assurance for catalog content. The specialist will also engage with manufacturers and distributors to keep product information current and analyze product performance data to recommend improvements. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a plumbing distribution or contracting environment, with extensive knowledge of plumbing materials. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly are essential. Effective verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work autonomously are also important. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 per year, plus a standard bonus and comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
