Process Engineer

We are looking for a process engineer to support development work, pilot-scale testing, and the transition of new technologies into commercial operation. This position suits someone who enjoys practical problem solving and working on projects that move from early concepts through to full-scale implementation. The role involves developing process concepts, preparing mass and energy balances, supporting flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation documentation, and carrying out equipment sizing and related calculations. You will also help plan and run experiments, review test data, and identify ways to improve performance. A key part of the job is contributing to pilot plant work, including operation support, troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, and interaction with external suppliers and contractors. You may also assist with customer demonstrations, field activities, technical documentation, operating procedures, and process safety reviews. The work is collaborative and spans engineering, operations, and project execution. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant engineering field and is registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer. Experience in process development, scale-up, pilot plant environments, simulation tools, and industrial commissioning is valuable. Background in sectors such as materials, chemicals, energy, recycling, or manufacturing would be an asset, along with exposure to safety reviews and multidisciplinary project work.
