Principal Engineer

We are seeking a senior engineer to help evolve a live, customer-facing platform into a robust, enterprise-ready system. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of architecture, reliability, and scale in a fast-moving environment where the product is already in use and growing. You will guide technical decisions for a cloud-based platform, working closely with product and engineering partners to improve throughput, stability, and maintainability without slowing delivery. The work includes strengthening the system for multi-tenant use, improving isolation between customers, adding safeguards for performance and security, and making sure the platform can handle increasing demand with confidence. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building and running backend or platform services in production, especially systems that support high traffic, asynchronous processing, and distributed workloads. Strong experience with reliability practices, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, and incident response is important. We are also looking for someone who codes regularly, communicates clearly, and is comfortable working with limited structure and a high degree of ownership. Experience with integration platforms, data pipelines, or API-based products is helpful, as is exposure to logistics or supply chain systems. Familiarity with modern engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development, is a plus.
