Plumbing Technologist

We are looking for an experienced plumbing design technologist to support building projects from early design through construction and close-out. This role works with a multidisciplinary team and contributes to a range of project types in the residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. In this position, you will help prepare technical drawings and related documentation for permit and construction use, coordinate information with clients, consultants, and internal staff, and support the delivery of projects from concept through completion. You will also review submittals, assist with construction-phase questions, participate in project meetings, and help keep schedules, scope, and records organized. The right candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable balancing several assignments at once. You should be able to work independently when needed while also collaborating effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational habits, problem-solving ability, and a practical understanding of plumbing design within buildings are important for success. Requirements include several years of relevant experience in building design or plumbing-related work, along with a diploma in a related technical field. Experience supporting commercial or multi-unit residential projects is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
