Piping Designer

We are seeking a contract Piping Designer to support the design of industrial test and development facilities. This role focuses on creating 3D piping models, producing piping and instrumentation drawings, and contributing to mechanical equipment layout and design. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of professional experience in piping and mechanical design, with hands-on use of 3D plant design software and drafting tools. Strong knowledge of piping documentation, model coordination, and technical drawing standards is important. Experience preparing and updating process and instrumentation diagrams is also required. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in the Greater Toronto Area. Compensation is expected to fall in the range of $37.00 to $43.00 per hour, depending on experience and fit. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with engineering teams, and contribute to accurate, efficient design deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
