We are seeking an experienced pharmacy leader to oversee day-to-day operations in a patient-focused community setting that supports older adults and assisted living residents. This role combines operational management, team leadership, and clinical oversight to help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy services.
You will guide pharmacy staff through hiring support, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance management while promoting a positive and accountable work environment. The position includes supervising dispensing workflows, prescription accuracy, inventory control, and quality processes, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will also contribute to medication reviews, counseling, therapy-related problem solving, and coordination with prescribers and other care providers as part of an integrated care model.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets and service performance, supporting audits and inspections, improving processes, and helping with the use of pharmacy and health record systems. This is a full-time leadership opportunity offering a competitive salary in the range of $115,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualified candidates should hold an appropriate pharmacy degree, have an active British Columbia pharmacist license in good standing, and bring several years of pharmacy experience, including supervisory or management experience. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
