Pharmacist

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations in a retail healthcare setting. This role involves working on duty to provide patient consultations, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, dispense medications accurately, and help maintain an organized and compliant dispensary. Key responsibilities include greeting customers in a professional manner, answering questions about prescriptions and non-prescription products, and delivering care in line with applicable federal and provincial regulations. You will also be responsible for protecting patient privacy, managing consent-related requirements, and ensuring all records are completed and retained according to policy and legal standards. In addition, this position includes oversight of workflow, inventory, and controlled substances documentation. Tasks may involve reviewing work queues, monitoring pickup areas, checking stock for expired items, placing medication orders, and maintaining proper control of regulated products. You will help keep pharmacy work areas clean, organized, and presentable, and may contribute to incident reporting and operational communications. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
