We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations and related system administration for a multi-province workforce, including Quebec. In this role, you will ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, records are maintained properly, and all activities remain aligned with applicable federal and provincial requirements. You will also support the effective use of payroll software and help improve processes that increase efficiency and reliability. Key responsibilities include processing full-cycle payroll, handling year-end activities and statutory filings, and managing employee changes such as hires, terminations, compensation updates, and leave-related payments. You will review time and attendance information, reconcile payroll data, and prepare reporting for different business groups. The position also involves maintaining employee records, resolving system issues, supporting integrations and configuration changes, and working with internal or external support teams when needed. In addition, you will assist with audits, compliance reporting, and ongoing monitoring of legislative updates. The ideal candidate has payroll certification, several years of payroll experience, and strong knowledge of multi-province payroll processes. Experience with payroll systems, time tracking tools, and advanced Excel skills is preferred. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Bilingual English/French skills would be an asset.
