Patient Engagement and Retention Specialist
A clinic-based opportunity is available for a patient-focused professional to support prospective patients through an important decision-making process. In this role, you will meet with patients after their pre-operative assessment, explain information provided by the clinical team in clear and accessible terms, and help them understand treatment options, benefits, pricing, and payment methods.
You will play a key role in building trust, addressing questions and concerns with empathy, and guiding patients toward next steps with confidence. Responsibilities also include scheduling procedures, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and supporting follow-up efforts to improve patient retention and treatment conversion. At times, you may be asked to send personalized reminders or follow up by phone, voice message, or video message. You will also help identify and report patient safety concerns or potential risks to clinic management.
The successful candidate will bring a background in customer service, retention, account management, or sales, ideally in a service-oriented environment. Strong communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills are important. English communication skills are required.
This is a permanent full-time role with a wage range of $23.22 to $30.18 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, benefits, paid vacation, sick days, a wellness day, group insurance, telemedicine, and RRSP matching. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and flexibility to support other nearby clinics when needed.
