We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on Parts Manager to lead all aspects of the parts department. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory management, order processing, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping while maintaining strong supplier relationships. The successful candidate will lead, coach, and develop team members, ensure compliance with company processes and safety standards, monitor departmental performance, analyze key metrics, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities include managing daily department operations, maintaining accurate records of inventory, sales, and purchases, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely parts delivery. You will supervise and train staff, support onboarding, address customer inquiries and issues promptly, and maintain effective communication with internal departments to support smooth operations. The role also involves overseeing sales and cross-selling opportunities, managing workflows related to parts requests, purchase orders, parts research, inventory tasks, and cycle counts, as well as providing reports to management on performance trends and results. On-call coverage may be required. This is a permanent salaried role based in Ottawa, Ontario, with a Monday to Friday schedule and occasional extended hours as needed. The salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with bonus potential, annual performance review increases, fully employer-paid group benefits, vacation and personal days, and an employer matching retirement savings plan. A high school diploma or equivalent and a business diploma or certificate are required, along with strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
