Paralegal Team Lead

Paralegal Team Lead We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Team Lead to provide leadership to a growing paralegal team while remaining hands-on in corporate paralegal work. In this role, you will oversee workflow, support and mentor team members, and help drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across the team. You will also work closely with lawyers on a broad range of corporate matters. The ideal candidate is a confident and supportive leader who communicates clearly, holds others accountable, and helps create practical systems and processes. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with active file work. A strong interest in technology and process improvement is an asset. Requirements include a Paralegal Diploma or Certificate preferred but not required, along with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and at least 5 years of experience as a corporate services paralegal, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A solid understanding of applicable corporate and not-for-profit legislation, legal terminology, and related procedures is required. Advanced proficiency with legal and office technology, including Microsoft Word and Excel, electronic document management, e-signature tools, online registry filing systems, and related legal software, is expected. Salary will be based on level of training, education, and experience. Hybrid work is generally supported, with some in-office attendance required.
