OT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced OT Specialist to lead industrial infrastructure and cybersecurity support across operational sites. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and day-to-day management of OT networks, remote connectivity, virtualization environments, and security tools that support reliable operations and compliance. This is a senior, hands-on position with technical leadership duties. You will guide junior team members, help establish engineering standards, and provide subject matter expertise during projects, assessments, and incident response activities. Key responsibilities include designing and improving industrial network architecture, including secure segmentation, resilient topology, redundancy, and performance tuning. You will also oversee remote communications solutions for hard-to-reach locations, helping maintain dependable connectivity for operational systems. In addition, you will manage virtualization platforms, support system design and commissioning activities, and coordinate patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle planning. The role also includes applying OT cybersecurity best practices, supporting audits and vulnerability reviews, and helping to strengthen secure access and monitoring capabilities. You will maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational guides, while working closely with engineering, operations, IT, and project teams. Candidates should have several years of experience in OT, industrial networking, or ICS environments, along with strong knowledge of high-availability design, remote communications, virtualization, and OT security standards. Relevant technical education or equivalent experience is required. Travel and participation in an on-call rotation will be expected.
