We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day service delivery for a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts in the Ottawa area. This full-time, daytime role is focused on maintaining high service standards, supporting staff performance, and ensuring strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring contract compliance, carrying out regular site inspections, and following up on service issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also help manage operating budgets, including payroll planning and cost controls, while working to support efficient and profitable operations.
Additional responsibilities include supervising front-line teams, reinforcing company policies and procedures, coordinating staffing needs, and contributing to recruitment efforts where site access or clearance requirements apply. You will work with internal leaders to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions when needed. Participation in audit-related activities may also be required.
This role calls for someone with several years of operations management experience, along with a background in commercial cleaning or a related service environment. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities effectively. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
