Operations Manager - Nova Scotia

Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 annually We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee operations in a designated region. This hands-on role supports the organization's mission through various collection programs aimed at generating revenue and promoting sustainability. The Operations Manager will ensure that local business streams and targets are met while maintaining strong fiscal accountability and effective human resource management practices. Key responsibilities include managing, coaching, and motivating staff to achieve targets, hiring and evaluating employees in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, and ensuring accurate inventory management and reporting. The role also involves overseeing documentation related to vehicle operations and inspections, identifying opportunities for cost savings and increased efficiencies, and preparing and managing the yearly budget. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of organizational goals and services, foster community relationships, and maintain communication with various stakeholders. Additionally, the Operations Manager will manage personnel records, produce work schedules, and ensure timely payroll processing. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 and/or G license.
