Member of Technical Staff - Cybersecurity Capabilities

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff with a focus on Cybersecurity Capabilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building reinforcement learning environments that enhance the understanding of cybersecurity challenges. Your work will involve creating environments that simulate real-world scenarios, allowing for the identification and resolution of vulnerabilities in production codebases, as well as developing effective patching strategies. Key responsibilities include designing RL environments and reward functions for offensive and defensive security tasks, constructing environments that address the full vulnerability lifecycle, and developing verifiable reward signals using various security tools. Collaboration with team members to brainstorm and innovate in the environment-building process will also be essential. Ideal candidates will possess strong security fundamentals, hands-on experience in finding and addressing vulnerabilities, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Rust. Familiarity with security tools and a passion for staying updated with the evolving landscape of security and machine learning are important.
