Mechanical Piping Technologist

We are seeking an intermediate-level mechanical and piping technologist to support industrial design work within the energy and resources sector. This position offers the chance to contribute to a range of projects, from early-stage studies to detailed engineering, with work spanning North America and international locations. The role is suited to someone who is comfortable working with limited supervision and who can contribute effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. In this position, you will help develop mechanical and piping deliverables from concept through construction. Responsibilities include producing or coordinating drawings, sketches, and design packages; creating 3D models of piping and mechanical systems; preparing isometric drawings; and supporting field data collection and verification at client sites. You will also interpret existing drawings, assist with technical problem-solving, and communicate closely with project team members to support successful delivery. The successful candidate should have experience with common CAD and 3D design tools, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively. This role also includes supporting junior colleagues and contributing technical input as needed.
