Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled meat cutter to join a busy retail food department. In this hands-on role, you will prepare, portion, and present meat products to support a high-quality service counter and a positive customer experience. You will interact with shoppers in a friendly, professional way, answer product questions, and help maintain a welcoming department. Key responsibilities include cutting and packaging product, stocking and rotating cases and shelves, and keeping displays fresh, neat, and well organized. You will also help maintain cleanliness in work and storage areas through routine sanitation and housekeeping tasks. Following safety, food handling, and equipment procedures is an important part of the job. You may also assist with opening and closing duties, inventory counts, ordering supplies, and other operational tasks as needed. In addition, there may be opportunities to help train newer team members and support their development. The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of training and experience. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a customer-first mindset are essential. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and working in colder conditions.
