We are seeking a Marketing Manager, Categories to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of a portfolio by implementing category strategies and ensuring effective execution in the market. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, you will lead product launches, develop trade programs, and utilize data-driven insights to enhance revenue, profitability, and brand growth across various channels.
Key responsibilities include executing category strategies and assortment priorities, managing channel-specific go-to-market plans for launches and campaigns, and conducting post-launch evaluations to inform future initiatives. You will also oversee trade calendars, budgets, and sales tools, while tracking category revenue, P&L, trade spend, and ROI, identifying risks and providing recommendations. Partnering with sales teams on customer plans and ensuring timely execution will be essential.
The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary education in a related field and have experience in category management, brand management, or trade marketing. Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach are also required.
