Marketing & Communications Manager

This is a one-year term position for a Marketing & Communications Manager. The successful candidate will lead marketing and communications efforts across a diverse portfolio of companies, focusing on building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders through strategic planning and execution. Key responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of marketing and communication campaigns that enhance brand attributes and community impact. The role also involves creating and managing digital and social media strategies, including the maintenance of websites and social media accounts. Collaboration with internal teams to align messaging and develop programs that promote the organization as an employer of choice is essential. The candidate will produce various marketing and communications materials such as reports, presentations, media releases, and digital content, and may oversee team members and contractors in these efforts. Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Strong written and oral communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Familiarity with Indigenous cultures is considered an asset.
