An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time permanent Manager, Supply Chain. This role will initially require regular travel to a corporate office and periodic trips to an assigned project site. During the construction phase of the project, the position will transition to an on-site rotational work schedule. The Manager will report to the Project Director and will be responsible for managing strategic contracts related to heavy industrial construction, open pit mining, tailings dams, site services, accommodations, processing plants, and supporting infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include executing the procurement and contract management process, assisting in scope development, conducting supply market research, soliciting proposals, leading evaluations and negotiations, and managing contract documents. The role also involves coordinating technical evaluations, ensuring contracts meet legal and commercial obligations, and overseeing contractor performance.
The Manager will balance area requests with strategic initiatives for value creation and cost reductions, liaise with various stakeholders, implement change management, and resolve issues professionally. Additional duties include preparing reports for senior leadership, participating in team meetings, and fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes safety and community engagement. Occasional travel to the project site may be required. Competitive salary and benefits will be offered.
