An experienced finance professional is needed to lead financial reporting activities on a contract basis while supporting a leave coverage assignment. This hybrid position is based in Calgary and involves overseeing the preparation and review of reporting deliverables, maintaining accounting accuracy, and helping ensure timely month-end and period-end close processes.
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, and team leadership, along with the ability to manage priorities across a varied business environment. Responsibilities include coordinating reporting workflows, reviewing results for completeness and accuracy, supporting internal stakeholders, and helping maintain effective controls and documentation. Experience working in a supervisory or management capacity is important, as this role involves guiding processes and supporting others as needed.
Applicants should have at least five years of relevant leadership experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation. The compensation for this opportunity is in the range of $105,000 to $110,000 annually, with competitive benefits offered.
