Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a small team, support safe work practices, and help keep equipment running efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain reliable operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate preventive and condition-based maintenance work, monitor work orders and asset records in a maintenance management system, and help improve overall equipment reliability. You will also work closely with production, stores/inventory, and outside contractors to plan and complete maintenance tasks in a timely and cost-effective way. Key duties include coaching and supporting maintenance staff, assisting with scheduling and workforce coverage, reviewing attendance and payroll information, and participating in daily team meetings. You will help identify recurring equipment problems, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts for critical assets. The role also involves overseeing contractor activity, helping manage maintenance priorities, and contributing to budget and planning discussions. The ideal candidate will have several years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or food processing setting, along with supervisory experience preferred. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems is important, as is knowledge of workplace safety requirements and modern maintenance practices.
