Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team with a focus on employee safety, food safety and quality, regulatory compliance, customer service, and employee engagement. This role involves providing front-line leadership for a group of tradespeople and technicians to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and committed to fostering a positive work environment. Key responsibilities include supervising and leading a team of up to 10 direct reports, ensuring adherence to safety and food-safety regulations, providing feedback and support, coordinating job assignments, and developing strong working relationships across departments. The Maintenance Supervisor will also organize maintenance activities, manage spare parts inventory, verify quality of completed work, lead new machine setups, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks using CMMS software. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance supervision experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment, along with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial technology. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential. Additional assets include certifications such as Red Seal Millwright or Electrician, knowledge of electrical equipment, and experience with automation and HVAC systems. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
