Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal availability and reliability. Key responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with safety mechanisms. The role involves engaging with support services for modifications and installations, assisting with procurement and inventory management, and performing both scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize production disruptions. Candidates should have vocational training or an associate degree in industrial maintenance technology or mechanical engineering technology, along with relevant technical certification. Experience in equipment maintenance, particularly within the foam industry, is preferred. Required skills include the ability to read technical manuals and blueprints, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems, and proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
