Maintenance Specialist

A manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and tools. The successful candidate will ensure machine availability and reliability while conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Key responsibilities include identifying and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, working with OEM support for modifications and installations, and managing procurement and inventory for maintenance supplies. The Maintenance Specialist will perform both scheduled and emergency repairs, maintain detailed records using CMMS systems, and troubleshoot control networks within the facility. Collaboration with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards is essential. Candidates should possess vocational training or an associate degree in industrial maintenance technology or mechanical engineering technology, along with relevant technical certification. Experience in equipment maintenance within the manufacturing sector is preferred. Strong skills in reading technical manuals, mechanical troubleshooting, and operating CMMS are required. Proficiency in MS Office and diagnostic testing equipment is also necessary.
