Maintenance Manager

An established manufacturing organization is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities across several production sites in Prince Edward Island. This leadership position is responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing breakdowns, and supporting long-term operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, finance, and site leaders to strengthen maintenance planning, guide capital priorities, and support ongoing facility improvements. In this role, you will lead and develop maintenance staff, including trades personnel and frontline supervisors. You will help build a strong team culture focused on safety, accountability, and ongoing improvement, while also supporting training, performance management, and succession planning. A key part of the job is creating and executing maintenance programs that increase uptime, improve asset condition, and support efficient production. The position also involves overseeing budgets, contractor relationships, and maintenance standards across the network. You will contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives, root cause investigations, and reliability improvements. In addition, you will help ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety requirements. The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Applicants should have substantial manufacturing maintenance experience, along with several years in a leadership capacity and hands-on experience with maintenance planning systems and reliability-based practices.
