Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operation of a fleet maintenance shop and support reliable equipment performance. In this role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, work closely with transportation leadership, and maintain effective relationships with vendors and service partners. You will also help ensure parts, inventory, and purchasing processes are accurate and well controlled. The position involves supervising a small team of mechanics working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, while supporting a safe and organized work environment. A strong background in preventive maintenance, equipment repair planning, and troubleshooting is an asset, along with the ability to anticipate maintenance needs and reduce downtime. Comfort with computers and fleet-related systems is also beneficial. We are looking for someone with sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and clear communication abilities. The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a team. Prior shop management experience is required, and hands-on experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
