Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing maintenance programs for multiple facilities. The Maintenance Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all equipment, facilities, and systems. A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery are essential. The position requires a proactive approach to asset management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term maintenance programs and plans that align with business objectives, focusing on reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
- Design and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance schedules using data analytics to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Prepare and monitor annual maintenance budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings through process improvements and vendor negotiations.
- Drive the adoption of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other digital tools to enhance reporting and performance tracking.
- Develop partnerships with suppliers and contractors, negotiate service agreements, and evaluate performance for quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives to improve maintenance processes and enhance energy efficiency through Lean principles.
- Build and mentor a high-performing maintenance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Participate in capital expenditure planning and ensure compliance with best practices during project execution.
- Oversee daily maintenance activities and participate in hands-on repairs to understand unique machinery.
Qualifications:
A degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is preferred, along with 10+ years of experience in maintenance leadership.
