Maintenance Helper

We are seeking a practical, reliable maintenance helper to support the upkeep of a busy facility. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, uses tools with confidence, and takes pride in keeping buildings and equipment in good working order. You will assist with day-to-day maintenance tasks, help complete minor repairs, and support skilled trades staff on a range of projects across the site. Duties include basic inspections, routine upkeep of building areas and exterior grounds, light repair work, painting, patching surfaces, and moving furniture or materials as needed. You will also help maintain a tidy, safe, and organized work area while following health and safety practices. The ideal candidate can follow instructions, work independently when required, and contribute positively to a team environment. Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and repair methods is an asset, along with good organization and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with regular weekday hours and competitive compensation, plus a benefits package. The work involves being on your feet for most of the day, lifting moderate weights, and performing tasks indoors and outdoors in changing conditions. Occasional climbing, kneeling, and working at heights may be required.
