Licensed Millwright

A manufacturing employer is hiring a licensed millwright for an overnight maintenance role at a production facility in Ontario. The position pays $50.37 per hour plus applicable shift premiums. The schedule is Monday to Friday during night hours, with flexibility required for other shifts, including weekends or holidays, depending on operational needs. In this role, you will carry out preventive and condition-based maintenance on industrial equipment, complete assigned repair work safely and efficiently, and respond to urgent breakdowns when they occur. You will also assist with diagnosing faults, identifying root causes, and carrying out corrective actions to reduce repeat issues. Working closely with operators and other trades, you will help limit downtime, support safety and quality standards, and contribute to clear shift-to-shift communication. The ideal candidate holds a valid Ontario millwright license and has a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional trade certification is considered an advantage. Experience with industrial or packaging machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred, along with basic computer skills for recording work and updating maintenance systems. Strong troubleshooting ability, a team-oriented attitude, and the physical capacity to handle materials up to 50 lbs are important. Machine shop and welding experience are also beneficial.
