We are seeking an experienced environmental field professional to lead and support site-based monitoring and sampling programs in a remote setting. In this role, you will organize field activities, manage day-to-day logistics, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities include planning personnel and equipment needs, coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements, maintaining safety documentation and training records, and supporting equipment upkeep and replacement planning.
You will also carry out environmental sampling, collect and manage field data, prepare sample shipments for laboratory analysis, and assist with reviewing and organizing data for reporting. This position includes some leadership duties, such as guiding team members, providing direction and coaching, and supporting their ongoing development. Other related tasks may be assigned as needed.
The ideal candidate has a background in science or engineering, along with several years of field experience, including time spent leading environmental work in remote industrial or construction environments. Strong organization, time management, and communication skills are important, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with common office software and general business applications is also required. The hourly rate for this role is $38 to $48.
